Noida Reallows OCs, Registries at Sector 150 Sports City Project
The Noida Authority on Saturday 3rd January 2026, after 5 years, lifted a ban on the issuance of Occupancy Certificate, registries and sale and purchase of completed apartments in group housing projects being built under the Sports City scheme in Sector 150 along the Noida – Greater Expressway.
On November 24, 2025, directed the Noida Authority to issue conditional OC to housing projects and allow registries in cases where developers have complied with building regulations.
The ruling has brought relief to thousands of homebuyers awaiting possession and registry since 2021, when the authority had imposed a ban, citing a lack of development of sporting facilities by the developers involved in the project.
The Noida Authority has approved the revised master plan and lifted all bars imposed in 2021; the move will benefit around 40000 apartment owners who wait for the possession and registry.
The registry execution will not only bring revenue to the government but bring happiness to the thousands of families, who were in distress.
The comprehensive resolution plan accepted records an undertaking by Lotus Green Constructions Pvt Ltd to complete all sports facilities within 3 years and other infrastructure within 5 years from the date.
The Sports City Scheme for Plot SC 02 Sector 150 Noida
The Sports City scheme for SC 02 in Sector 150 was launched in June 2014, covering 12 lakh square meter. The project was designed with 70 percent land allocation for sports facilities and open areas and 30 percent for group housing and commercial purposes.
Lotus Greens, leading a consortium of developers received the allotment in September 2014 through a technical and financial bid process.
Due to land unavailability, the Noida Authority granted a zero period to the developer until September 30, 2016. The project master plan was later approved I January 2017. However, development was disrupted when the Noida authority-imposed restrictions on Sports City in its 201st Board Meeting on January 18, 2021.
