DELHI – NCR TO GET DUBAI LIKE CITY

MASTER PLAN READY FOR MEGA PROJECT

The project aims to combine industrial growth with a modern lifestyle, making it one of the most advanced urban centers in India.

Delhi – NCR may soon get a brand-new modern city as the authorities move forward with the ambitious New Noida project. The Noida Authority has prepared the Master Plan 2041 to develop this upcoming city on the lines of global urban hubs such as Abu Dhabi & Dubai. The project aims to combine industrial growth with a modern lifestyle, making it one of the most advanced urban centers in India.

The new city will be developed under the Dadri Noida Ghaziabad Investment Region. Officials believe the project will play a major role in boosting industrial development and attracting large investments in the coming years.

NEW NOIDA TO RISE

According to the plan, New Noida will be built on land spread across nearly 80 villages in the Dadri and Buland Shahr region. The government plans to use a land pooling model for acquisition so that farmers can also benefit from the project.

The total area of the Delhi Noida Ghaziabad Investment Region – New Noida is expected to be around 21,000 hectares. Out of this, about 8,811 hectares will be reserved for industrial activities, while more than 2000 hectares will be used for residential development. Around 2,477 hectares of land has been earmarked specifically for housing projects.

The master plan also proposes setting up nearly 3,000 industrial units in the region. These industries are expected to generate large scale employment and turn New Noida into a major economic hub of Uttar Pradesh.

Environmental sustainability has also been included in the city’s design. Around 58.96 hectares will be developed as lakes, while 91.75 hectares will have canal networks.
